The Adelphi

The Adelphi is a 7 level apartment building with 50 apartments and ground level car parking. The lower podium draws on the coastal art deco nature architecture that can be seen in Glenelg with curved forms, light breezeway blockwork and integrated landscaping. A variety of apartment designs across the floors maximise opportunities of the site with 360 views towards the ocean, hills and city. The upper levels setback to minimise the scale of the building and vertical curved walls interrupt the façade to breakdown the horizontal mass and create privacy and design interest. Materials are refined in selections with offwhite and champagne tones repeated in different materials, warm timber and blockwork.
